- Flowers: small, white, 4 petals, in “flat-topped” clusters
- Leaves: toothed, lance-shaped
- Stems: up to 2 feet tall
- Reproduction: roots (up to 450 new shoots/year), seeds
- Problems: invades range and degrades wildlife habitat
