Invasive Species Conference
The Eastern Nevada Landscape Coalition held its 18th Annual Invasive Species Conference (formerly Winter Weeds Conference) in Ely on January 17-18, 2024.
This year’s topics ranged from identification of common native species versus noxious and invasive species, best integrated pest management practices, interagency cooperation and coordination to public outreach and education about invasive species.
As always, we offered continuing education units (CEUs) for certified and licensed pesticide applicators to put towards the renewal of their applicator certifications of licenses. We also offered, in partnership with the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA), the opportunity for anyone who wants to take the applicator’s exam to do so.
