Weed of the week: Russian Olive

  • Fruits: silver to tan, olive-like
  • Stems: up to 25’ tall with long thorns
  • Leaves: narrow, 3” long, silvery
  • Reproduction: seeds
  • Problems: invades pastures and riparian areas, injures livestock
