- Flowers: tiny, yellow, four petals with hanging seed pods which dry to black
- Leaves: thick , up to 2‘ long, obvious white mid-vein
- Stems: up to 9’ tall
- Reproduction: seeds
- Problems: invades rangeland, degrades wildlife habitat
