20th Annual Invasive Species Conference
Dear Friends,
You are invited to join Eastern Nevada Landscape Coalition (ENLC) and Tri-County Weed Control for our 20th Annual Invasive Species Conference, January 14-15, 2026 at the Bristlecone Convention Center in Ely.
This year we have invited local and regional presenters from Nevada as well as other areas of the West. The topics will range from the invasive weeds that Nevada deals with to wildfire land restoration, stream restoration, effective herbicides and bio-control agents. Continuing education credits (CEUs) will be available.
In addition to offering CEU credits, the Nevada Department of Agriculture will administer both the non-government (ranchers/farmers/public) and government (city, county, state, and federal) applicator’s tests on the afternoon of the 15th for anyone who is not a certified applicator.
This year in conjunction with the Cattleman’s Association Update meeting there will be an option for a catered dinner buffet at 6 PM, following day 1 of the conference. Please signup below if you plan on attending. The cost is $20 a plate unless you are also signed up for the Cattleman’s Update.
The Eastern Nevada Landscape Coalition, partnering with Tri-County Weed Control (TCWC), held its 19th Annual Invasive Species Conference (formerly Winter Weeds Conference) in Ely on January 8 & 9, 2025.

This year’s topics ranged from identification of common native species versus noxious and invasive species, best integrated pest management practices, interagency cooperation and coordination to public outreach and education about invasive species.

As always, we offered continuing education units (CEUs) for certified and licensed pesticide applicators to put towards the renewal of their applicator certifications of licenses. We also offered, in partnership with the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA), the opportunity for anyone who wants to take the applicator’s exam to do so.

If you are interested in learning more about conference topics or have any other questions, please call ENLC’s office at 775-289-7974.
